A San Jose contractor that sweats the details
GLS Construction is a division of General Landscaping Service, a landscape construction company founded in 2002. As our clients asked for more than landscaping, we earned our general contractor license and grew into full remodeling.
Today we build kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, outdoor living spaces and commercial interiors. We are not a big firm, and that is on purpose. Smaller projects get faster turnaround and the owner's attention.
About GLSWhy homeowners and businesses choose us
Licensed and established
California license #835800. Part of General Landscaping Service, in business since 2002.
Clear communication
You always know what is happening on your project, what is next, and why.
On time, on budget
Realistic timelines up front, and we help you find ways to stretch the budget.
Small jobs welcome
We focus on small and mid-size projects, so a single bathroom gets real attention.
How a project works
Consultation
We meet, look at the space, and talk through what you want, how you use the room and what you want to spend.
3D Design and Planning
You see a 3D design of the finished space before any demolition starts, so changes happen on screen, not on site.
Material Selection
We help you pick cabinets, counters, tile, flooring and fixtures that fit the design and the budget.
Construction
Our crew builds it, keeps the site clean, and keeps you updated until the final walkthrough.

Are you a licensed contractor?
Yes. GLS Construction holds California contractor license #835800.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. We will look at your space, talk through your goals and budget, and give you a clear next step at no cost.
Do you take on small projects?
Yes. Unlike large firms, we focus on small and mid-size projects. A single bathroom gets the same attention as a full renovation, and smaller jobs usually move faster.
Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes. We remodel offices, break rooms, restaurants, retail spaces and commercial kitchens and restrooms.
Will I see the design before work starts?
Yes. We create a 3D design so you can see the finished space and make changes before any demolition.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in San Jose and work throughout the Bay Area.
